Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

How we collect, use, and protect your information when you enroll in and use Crawford Legacy University.

This Privacy Policy explains how Crawford Legacy Group ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the Crawford Legacy University website, enroll, and use the member library (together, the "University").

We collect only what we need to run your membership, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you enroll and use the University, we collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • your answer to what you want from the University, which you choose during enrollment;
  • your account password, which is stored by our account provider in encrypted (hashed) form, so we never see it;
  • notes and reflections you write in your private notebook; and
  • messages you send to our support team.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as your name, email, the card brand and last four digits, your billing country or postal code if collected, and your payment and renewal history.

Information collected automatically. When you use the University, we collect information about your activity, such as lessons started and completed, progress, and certificate status, along with device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, and pages viewed. We use cookies and similar technologies as described below.

How We Use Information

  • to create and secure your account and provide the member library;
  • to process payments and yearly renewals;
  • to send transactional emails, such as receipts, renewal reminders, and account notices;
  • to save your progress and notebook and to issue your certificate of completion;
  • to deliver member benefits, including event invitations and the newsletter;
  • to respond to your questions and support requests;
  • to understand how members use the University so we can improve it;
  • to prevent fraud, account sharing, and abuse; and
  • to comply with legal obligations.

Emails From Us

Your membership includes the newsletter and event invitations. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the link in any such email. While your membership is active, we will still send transactional emails about your account, payments, and renewals.

Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the University secure. We also use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the member library may not work without essential cookies.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, we do not currently respond to them.

How We Share Information

We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers that operate parts of the University for us, under contracts that limit how they may use your information. These include payment processing (Stripe), hosting and security (Cloudflare and Webflow), accounts and data storage (Supabase), email delivery, and analytics (Google).
  • Legal reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of our members, the public, or Crawford Legacy Group.
  • Business transfers, if Crawford Legacy Group or the University is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Your information would remain subject to this policy.
  • With your consent, or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it to third parties.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information while your account is active and afterward only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your notebook and profile information, except for records we are required to keep.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a copy of your personal information by emailing info@crawfordlegacygroup.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, and we will honor requests as those laws require. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Children

The University is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Where Information Is Processed

The University is operated in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the University from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be handled under United States law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the University before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above shows when this policy was last revised.
